Are Retro Brands Still Appealing?
Can ‘retro’ brands continue to appeal to new generations? Polaroid seem to think so and I admit, I wouldn’t be without mine – but then I remember when this was your regular camera!
Their marketing strategy is going to need to be sound, especially as they will need to overcome issues such as cost, shareability and capturing the moment in one shot!
That said, I definitely go back and look at my hard-copy Polaroid pictures more than I do the thousands of digital pictures cluttering my laptop and the memories they evoke are worth every penny!
Fingers crossed the kids will see the appeal!
